Questions 63 and 64 - Why Jesus Has NOT Come Yet!!
We will show in this Blogsite that the reason Jesus has not returned can be summed up in one word. "DISOBEDIENCE." For almost 2000 years, Satan and his powers of darkness have deceived the vast majority of Christianity into believing that obedience to God is not only un-necessary, it is legalism, and thus a sin. A sin to obey God!! It seems impossible that Satan could deceive the vast majority of Christians that it is a sin to obey God, but let's never forget that Satan is the Master-Deceiver!
He has done exactly this. The real reason Jesus is waiting is because His people are not reflecting His Character as, “Witnesses unto All Nations,”  and, He has not come because His people have not understood the strength available to them through a New Covenant relationship with Him."And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world, for a WITNESS unto all nations, and THEN shall the end come" (Matt.24:14). In this statement, Jesus told us exactly why He has not returned.
If our Reader is a Pastor, consider the following. Is it possible that Jesus waits for His Second Coming because Christians have conjured up Doctrines making it acceptable, even mandatory, to disobey God? Some will say, "NO!! I've never heard of such Doctrines!"  Yes you have!! You have, absolutely! Satan has done a masterful job of smuggling Doctrines of  Demons into Christianity and Christians are failing to recognize them. We suggest that the most popular doctrine within Christianity is exactly the reason Jesus has not returned. That popular doctrine would be the doctrine of, "Grace frees us (DEMANDS US) to disobey God's Law."  If you are a Pastor, you may say, "I've never preached anything like that!" Pastor, think of the sermons you've preached declaring that trying to obey the Law is actually doing away with Grace. Most likely you have said that such is "Legalism!"Your answer will likely be, "Paul said exactly this!!"  But did he really?  We suggest a careful reading of what Paul actually said, in its entire context, will clear up any confusion. Paul said that keeping the Law, aside from accepting Jesus as Savior, is the way we deny Grace. Pastor, of course keeping the Law aside from Jesus and the Holy Spirit is impossible.
Is Jesus waiting for something to happen before He returns? And is there anything we can do to hasten His Coming? Let's look again at something Jesus told His Disciples. What He said answers the question of whether or not we can hasten the time of Christ's return, and opens up another question that we'll examine.

"The End Come"
"This Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the World for a WITNESS unto all Nations; and then shall the END COME"  (Matt.24:14).  Christ's Disciples fully expected to be alive when the, "End Comes." And for good reason! Following is what He told them midway through His 3 1/2 year Ministry:

"NOT Taste  Death" Till Jesus Comes?
Jesus said, "For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with His Angels, and then He shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There are some standing here, who shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom" (Matt. 16:27-28). Jesus made this and similar Prophecy/Promises to His Disciples throughout His Ministry. We'll look at more in a minute.

Why Jesus Waits to Return
The Question of, "Why Jesus Has Not Come Yet," is one of the most important Questions we need to Ponder; Ever! Christ's Disciples asked Him when He would return.  He said the end would come and He would return when the, "Gospel of the Kingdom was preached in all the World, for a WITNESS unto all nations, then the END would come."  We need to focus on the, "Witness" portion of the answer Jesus gave. He told His Disciples about False Prophets and False Teachers literally trying to annul the Law of God. He warned that these evil teachers would declare it is good and even essential for us to disobey God's Law. Pastor, are today's False Teachers fulfilling Christ's warnings? The bigger question is, are there otherwise good Pastors and good Ministers unwittingly endorsing doctrines proclaimed by the False Teachers?  Let's look at the possibility (probability) that, because of the False Teachers, there are at least 3 massive issues that could be preventing Jesus from coming. We can know for certainty that Satan is the originator and Commander in Chief of these False Teachings? Let's look first at the, "False Gospel" reason Jesus could be waiting, then we'll take a close look at the False Kingdom reason, and then take a very close look at the, "Witnessing" part.

1 - Grace  Means We Can (MUST) "Disobey God's Law"

Satan's lie about "Grace freeing us (demanding us) to disobey God's Law" is preventing Christians from being the, "Witnesses" Jesus needs. Throughout His Ministry, Jesus warned over and over about this.

2 - False "Gospel of the Kingdom"

We suggest that the Popular Version of the,
"Gospel of the Kingdom" is a, "False Gospel of a False Kingdom." Jesus said He was going to His Father's House to, "Prepare a place for you...and come again and receive you unto Myself, that where I am, there ye may be also" (Jn.14:1-3). At His trial He told Pilate, "My Kingdom is not of this world" (Jn.18:36). In spite of Jesus telling us over and over that His Kingdom will be in Heaven, almost all of Christianity keeps proclaiming there will be this, "Earthly Millennial Kingdom." So, Pastor, if the popular doctrine that there will be an, Earthly Millennial Kingdom is incorrect, is it possible that Satan is standing in the way of us proclaiming the Real Gospel of the Real Kingdom? And is it possible that the notion of an Earthly Kingdom is actually part of Satan's Last Day Delusion?  Could it be that he plans to establish a False Kingdom here on Earth as his Grand Delusion to force, "the whole world wonder after and worship him and Antichrist" (Rev.13:3)? A careful examination of what the Bible really says about God's everlasting Kingdom will reveal this to be exactly the case.

3 - "Witness Unto All Nations"

We suggest THIS is the real reason Jesus has not come yet! Satan knows his days are finished when, "All nations WITNESS the Power of the real Gospel?" How will God's people, "Witness unto all Nations?" Jesus will return when all nations see Him truly reflected in His People. When the Bride of Christ begins to look like and act like Jesus, her Groom, Jesus will then know that she seriously wants to become His Bride. When Jesus came up out of the water at His baptism, God announced from Heaven, "This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (Matt.3:17). Later, at the Mount of Transfiguration, God spoke from a cloud, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased; Hear ye Him" (Matt.17:5). Is it possible Pastor, that when Christ's Bride truly reflects the character of Jesus, He may symbolically say to the whole world, as well as to the whole Universe, "This is My Beloved Bride in whom I am well pleased! Listen and watch Her!"

Is the Bible full of evidence exactly this? Let's look at just a small sample of the Bible evidence.

"Walk as He Walked"

When John was an old man, there was a movement within the early Church from evil infiltrators whose sole purpose was to declare that Christ was not human and that He had come to destroy everything that the Creator God had done or said. They said Christ came to free humans from their evil Creator who had given them the ridiculously impossible 10 Commandments. These Satanic implants were later called, "Gnostics." There is not room here for even a small sample of the Gnostic's Doctrines of Demons, nor is there room to list how many of these Demonic Doctrines eventually became what is now considered Orthodox Christian doctrines. For a complete look at the evil Gnostics, see "Satan's Gnostics." They declared that Christ did NOT come to earth as an example for us because He
was never a human, but rather a Spirit with no human body. The whole book of 1 John is John's rebuttal to these Satanic agents. Notice in the following text John's reference to, "His Commandments." This was John's way of showing that it was Jesus Himself who wrote the Commandments with His own finger. "And by this we do know that we know Him (Jesus), if we keep His Commandments. He that saith, 'I know Him' and keepeth not His Commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whosoever keepeth His word. In him verily is the love of God perfected; by this we know that we are in Him. He that saith he abideth in Him ought also to WALK, EVEN AS HE WALKED" (1Jn.2:3-6). Underscore, Walk, Even as He Walked. Pastor, could it be that Satan's Gnostics are alive and well in our Churches, and still proclaiming a slightly cleaned up version of the same lie? Listen to many Ministers and you'll hear it repeated emphatically that, "Jesus came to be our Savior, NOT OUR EXAMPLE!!!"  Now let's see what Jesus said about reflecting His Character:
Overcometh as He Overcame
"To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me on My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His Throne" (Rev.3:21)! "Overcome even as He Overcame."  Pastor, is there any way to read this and not see that Jesus is telling us that He is our Example. We even hear some of our Ministers claim that Jesus was a human, but, not really like us. More on this in a minute.
The Testimony of Jesus
"The Dragon (Satan) was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the Remnant of her seed, who keep the Commandments of God, and have the Testimony of Jesus Christ" (Rev.12:17)

The FAITH of Jesus
"Here is the patience of the saints! Here are they that keep the Commandments of God and have the FAITH of Jesus" (Rev.14:12)!  We could actually stop here. Is it not safe to say that Jesus is waiting for his People; His Church; His Bride, to prepare Herself for the, "Wedding Supper of the Lamb?"

Did Jesus Tell His Disciples "Some Shall NOT Taste of Death" Till He Comes?

"For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with His Angels, and then He shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There are some standing here, who shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom"
(Matt.16:27-28). The last Disciple, John, died about 1900 years ago! Jesus said: “Verily I say unto you, (His Disciples) This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled” (Matt. 24:34). Jesus said, "ALL these things be fulfilled." Jesus said,  “I tell you of a truth, There are some standing here, who shall not taste death, till they shall see the Kingdom of God” (Lk.9:27). And, “Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, who shall not taste death, till they have seen the Kingdom of God come with power” (Mk.9:1).
Pastor, as you know our Ministers have tried to explain away these Bible Verses, and if we separate each out of it's context, we can conjure up some kind of reason to dismiss it. But if we put them all together as we have done here, we must face reality. The reality is that when Satan heard Jesus make these statements, he began immediately doing all in his Satanic power to stop this from happening.

Did Jesus give false hope, or declare a false prophecy?
Absolutely NO! God always has a perfect plan, but we humans get distracted and fail to do our part, thus He mercifully extends our time. We stand in the way of God's plan, and delay things! God is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2Pet.3:9).

When Jesus went back to Heaven, He told His followers to prepare for His return, and that it could happen in their lifetimes. But, when a prophecy involves
human responsibility, it is conditional. When humans fail, God has a back-up plan; a "Plan B." Pastor, does it appear we've been stuck in back-up plans for almost 2000 years? Is it possible we'll remain here till we correct OUR problem. If "All Nations Witness Christ's Character" reproduced in us, could the "End Come?" If we preach the "REAL Gospel about the REAL Kingdom," could the "End Come?" If, instead of declaring the Commandments of God null and void because of "Grace," we demonstrated to "all Nations" the power Jesus promised us, could it be that Jesus will no longer delay His Coming?
Didn't Jesus Know When He Would Return?
Some think Jesus knew all the secrets of the Universe while here on earth, but serious Bible students know this was not so. Jesus laid aside this and took on humanity. While on earth He did not know the time of His Second Coming. He said: But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no not the angels who are in Heaven, NEITHER the SON, but the Father” (Mk. 13:32).

Did the Apostles think and Prophesy that Jesus was Coming SOON?
Paul “Then WE who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1Thess.4:17).
James “Be ye also patient, stablish your hearts; for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh (Js.5:8).
Peter - But the end of all things is at hand. Be ye therefore sober, and watch unto power" (1Pet.4:7).
John “Little children, it is the last time; and as ye have heard that Antichrist shall come, even now there are many antichrists, by which we know that it is the last time (1Jn.2:18).
John - "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him, to show unto His servants things which MUST SHORTLY COME TO PASS" (Rev.1:1).

These men, including Jesus, were not speaking and writing their own personal views. These men were "Holy Men of God, speaking and writing as they were moved by the Holy Spirit" (see 2Pet.1:21).

"God Knows the End From the Beginning"
It is difficult to show that God has a plan, and when that plan is thwarted by Satan, God must use a back-up plan, and when Satan attacks that plan, God moves on. This Author has many friends that get very angry when this is discussed, and these friends refuse to hear any possibility that God has had to change courses in order to accomplish His ultimate goal. The Bible is full of examples in which God clearly had a plan, and, because of human failures or human stubbornness, the plan was changed.

Adam and Eve
Did God create Adam and Eve for the sole purpose of having them sin? To say He did is a horrid attack on God's character, and Satan thoroughly enjoys for us to do this.  Let's not!

In light of all that Jesus said concerning some of His Disciples living till He returned, and, in light of the Bible Prophecies written by the Apostles, we have no choice but to accept that there was a Divine Plan for Jesus to return long ago. Is Jesus waiting for His People; His Church; His Bride to accept that He is Her Example.

Christ's Last Words to His Disciples
A careful examination of all four Gospels and Acts shows that, just before He returned to Heaven, Jesus said to them, “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to OBSERVE all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the World (Age)" (Matt.28:19-20). As is always Satan's plan, he has attempted to reverse every word Jesus said. Time and again the Bible tells us that Christ's Last Day people will be, "Keeping the Commandments of God." But what do our Ministers tell us? "Those Old Commandments are impossible to Observe! Grace has freed us from having to Observe that Old Law."
Pastor, in all honesty, do we have any choice but to admit that this is the reason Jesus has not come yet? James wrote, “For whosoever shall keep the whole Law, yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all” (Js.2:10). Jesus said "Whosoever shall break one of these Least Commandments, and TEACH MEN SO, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven" (See Matt.5:17-19). Jesus said, "Teaching them to OBSERVE all things whatsoever I have Commanded you."  How can we, "Observe all things," yet abolish, and teach others to abolish, the only Commandment that can be, "Observed?" And how can we teach such after reading the clear words of Jesus about the, "Least Commandment?" Jesus said, "Whosoever, therefore, shall break one of the least Commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matt.5:19). Is this a key reason that Jesus has not come yet?

Pre-Trib's Scofield Bible Footnote
Pastor, if you are a Pre-Trib Minister, and use the Scofield Study Bible footnotes, you've seen the following concerning the Sabbath:
  • “The early church was specifically warned against submitting themselves to the bondage of any legalistic observance of Sabbath days (Col.2:16;Gal.4:9-11). On the other hand, in the exercise of their Christian liberty, these same churches voluntarily chose the first day of the week as an appropriate time for fellowship and worship, the day in which the Lord arose and repeatedly appeared to His disciples. It was a new day for a new people belonging to a new creation, a day of commemoration and joy, service, and spiritual rest” (Scofield notes under Acts 20:7; emphasis ours).
The most popular Pre-Trib Evangelical Study Bible has Footnotes saying WHAT?  Did Paul really warned the early Church to blatantly ignore the words of Jesus concerning the jot and tittle and the least Commandment? Jesus said, "Whosoever shall break one of these Least Commandments, and TEACH MEN SO, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven" (See Matt.5:17-19). So, is the Pre-Trib Study Bible telling us to completely ignore the very words of Jesus and His Gospel Commission? How does this affect Christ's Second Coming? What did James say? “Whosoever shall keep the whole Law, yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all” (Js.2:10).

Conclusion
Pastor, is it all too obvious why Jesus has not returned? Has Christianity allowed the Powers of Darkness to Reverse everything Jesus said? Let's list just a few things we have examined throughout these 64 Pondered Questions, and see if the reason Jesus Waits is not too obvious:
1 - Jesus said,  “Go ye therefore and teach all nations...Teaching them to OBSERVE all things whatsoever I have commanded you" (Matt.28:19-20). But we hear, "Observing the Sabbath is actually a sin! It means we are refusing Grace!" Pastor, could it be that Jesus needs you to correct this to your Congregation?
2 - Jesus said, "Whosoever shall break one of these Least Commandments, and teach men so, shall be called Least in the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matt.5:19). But we hear,
“The early church was specifically warned against submitting themselves to the bondage of any legalistic observance of Sabbath days." Pastor, Does Jesus need you to make it known what He said about that "Least Commandment?"
3 - Jesus said,  "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me on My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His Throne" (Rev.3:21)
! But we hear, "As long as we are trapped in these evil bodies, we cannot overcome. We will keep on sinning till we see Jesus coming in the clouds." Pastor, is it possible Jesus needs you to reveal to them what Jesus said about "Overcoming?"
4 - Jesus said, "I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot and one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law, till all be fulfilled" (Matt.5:18). But we hear, "In this Grace Dispensation, we are no longer under the Law, but under Grace, thus the Law has been temporarily suspended until the next Dispensation. The Law was for the previous Dispensation under Moses, and will be for the next Dispensation for the Jews, but not for the Church now."
Pastor, do you think Jesus would like for you to share what He said about the "Jot and Tittle?"
5 - Jesus warned us that in the Last Days, Satan's delusions will be centered around "Anomia." See "Jesus Warned Us." Anomia is the Greek word for "Annulling God's Law," yet almost the entire Christian Church has adopted Satan's delusion of, "Grace Frees Us to Disregard (Annul) God's Law." Pastor, could Jesus be calling you to warn your Congregation about "Anomia?"
6 - Daniel warned us that Antichrist would "Think to Change the Times and the Laws" (Dan.7:25). But what do we hear from thousands of Christian Pulpits? "Jesus Changed only one of the 10 Commandments, the Sabbath, the only Commandment that contains TIME." Pastor, could it be that Jesus waits for His Church to stop accusing Him of doing the work of Antichrist?

7 - Isaiah prophesied that just before the Lord comes back to Earth, the inhabitants will have, "Transgressed the Laws, Changed the Ordinance, and Broken the Everlasting Covenant" (Isa.24:5). Isaiah prophesied that the Lord would utterly destroy the earth and its inhabitants because of this. Could it be that, since almost everyone in His Church presently practices and endorses all 3 of the abominations Isaiah saw, Jesus is waiting for at least a small remnant within His Church to turn from Satan's delusions? Pastor, could Jesus need you to share this with your Congregation so they can reject Satan's delusions and choose rather to be obedient to God's Law and Christ's Covenant and reflect Christ's character?"

8 - Paul wrote that, “We can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us (Phil.4:13).
But what do we hear from almost all Christian Ministers? "God's Law is IMPOSSIBLE to Keep!" Are they denying Paul's Promise when they tell us that, as long as we are in these wicked, depraved bodies, we'll never be able to live in accordance with God's will. Could it be that Jesus is waiting for us to believe Paul's Promise/Prophecy? Is Reflecting Christ's Character something we can do "through Christ who strengthens us?" Could He be waiting for Pastors with the courage to preach Paul's message?
9 - Paul wrote, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 2:5). Could it be that, when we accept this, Jesus will come to take us to the "place He has Prepared for us" (See Jn.14:1-3)? Could it be, Pastor, that we need to stop telling people how depraved they and tell them that, with the help of the Holy Spirit, their minds can be a reflection of Jesus?
10 - Paul told us that, before Jesus comes to "Gather His People [His Church] together unto Him" (2Thess.2:1), the "Man of Sin (Antichrist) will be revealed" (Vs.3). Pastor, could it be that Jesus, "not willing that any should perish" (2Pet.3:9), is attempting to call His Ministers into teaching their congregations the truth about His Church going through the Tribulation and having to rely on His strength to defeat Antichrist and Satan? Could you, Pastor, be one of those Ministers Jesus is calling?
11 - John, "Heard another Voice from Heaven, saying, Come out of her (Babylon) My People, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her Plagues" (Rev.18:4). Pastor, could Jesus be calling you to make a stand and share with your Congregation why Jesus has not come yet?
12 - We touched on the Gnostics in this chapter, but the true extent of evil Doctrines invented by Satan, and smuggled into the Early Church through these repugnant characters is mind boggling! Mainstream Christian Churches holding on to these Doctrines is proof that, from the Resurrection of Jesus till this day, Satan has been working feverishly on his Last Day Delusions. Every Gnostic Doctrine is carefully crafted to serve two purposes. First, to attack the character of God, and second, to prevent the true Gospel from being proclaimed so Jesus can return. Once a person knows the truth about the Gnostics, it becomes disturbing to see Ministers become enraged as they defend the evil Gnostic Doctrines. Seeing Ministers defend Doctrines that were designed specifically to besmirch God's Character makes it clear that this is another reason Jesus Waits. Jesus needs Ministers that will stand against such!  Pastor, Could Jesus be calling you to rid your Church of all Gnostic Doctrines that still linger in Christianity? For an endepth look at these Gnostics, see, "Satan's Gnostics."
13 - Could it be, Pastor, that Jesus is waiting for His Bride to understand the seriousness of defiling the Temple of the Holy Spirit? It is almost universal among Christians that there's no sin in consuming foods that are harmful to the Human Body, which is the Holy Spirit's Temple. "Know ye not that YE are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in You? If any man defile the Temple of God, HIM SHALL GOD DESTROY! For the Temple of God is HOLY, which Temple YE are" (1Cor.3:16-17). Pastor, already Ministers all over the world are recognizing this fact and passing it on to their Congregations. The Pastor of the largest Church in America recently had a 3 minute segment in his Sermon in which he admonished his people concerning eating Pork. We don't mention names, but go to U-Tube and search "Christians Eating Pigs" and you can see what he said. Pastor, have you Pondered that there is just something terribly wrong with "Pigs in God's Temple." Speaking of God "Destroying" those who "Defile God's Temple," Isaiah prophesied about the Lord "Coming with Fire" and utterly destroying people eating Pigs. See Isaiah 66:15-17. So, Pastor, can we add this to the many reasons Jesus has not come yet? And are you willing to pass this on to your people as did Pastor ______?
14 - Pastor, if you've read chapter 62, you've seen the Bible evidence how Satan and Antichrist will use Sorceresses, communicating with Demons who impersonate dead relatives, etc. In chapter 62 we covered Paul's statement, "Absent from the Body - Present with the Lord." After comparing this with the Psalmist writing about death in which he wrote, "His Breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish" (Ps.146:4). We also examined Paul's admonition on how to comfort one another when a believing relative dies. We saw that, instead of telling us the believing relative is in Heaven, he will be resurrected when Jesus Comes (see 1Thess.4:15-18 and 1Cor.15:50-53).  Pastor, could it be that another reason Jesus waits is because it has become an Orthodox Doctrine within Christianity, and, within every World Religion, that our deceased relatives are more alive now than when they were alive, and that at any time these deceased loved ones can contact us? Could it be that Jesus needs a host of Pastors and Ministers to warn His Last Day People how Satan will use Demons impersonating dead people for the purpose of deceiving them?  Pastor, could you be one of those Ministers Jesus is calling?

____________________________________________________________________________

Dear Reader, if you've read any of our other Blogsites, you know there could easily be a vast number of  other reasons, "Why Jesus Waits." Satan is doing all in his Demonic power to delay and even prevent Jesus from coming back. But, as you know, Pastor, the Bible is very clear that during the Last Days when Antichrist is forcing his Mark of the Beast upon everyone, God's people will rise up, and as John prophesied, "Keep the Commandments of God and have the Testimony and Faith of Jesus Christ" (Rev.12:17 and 14 :12). Also, as you know, Pre-Trib says John is referring only to the 144 Thousand. What if Pre-Trib is right? This Author believes Pre-Trib is exactly correct! But Pastor, what if there isn't going to be a Rapture before Jesus comes? What if God's people must face Antichrist? And what if Pastors, Sunday School Teachers, Sabbath School Teachers, and regular Church members who have sincere hearts are going to be the 144 Thousand? What if they want to complete Christ's Gospel Commission so He can come back soon. We suggest, Pastor, God is needing men and women like you!!! Please pray for God's Spirit to guide as you continue Ministering for Him. This Author is praying for you every day!!

Thank you SO much, Dear Reader, for your time. Let's pray for each other as we prepare to meet Jesus at His SOON COMING!!
